UMap is made of high-quality fabric with a very soft feel and features vivid colors- much different from paper maps. UMap holds its quality as time goes by. You don't need to worry about weathering or tearing anymore. The map is lightweight, making it easy to hang.

Yes, the map comes with 25 beautiful pins with backing clips. If you need more, order here at Colorful Pins for Your Map.

There is a set of two 3M Command Hooks that comes with the map- our gift to you. You can easily place the hooks and attach them anywhere you prefer.

Or you can use the ropes around the four corners of the UMap to tie the map to the place you like.

You can also create your personal method for decorating. Be creative and use paper tape, or magnets, etc.

Every UMap comes with a pair of 3M Command Clear Hooks as a gift. For different sizes of map, we offer different sizes of hooks based on its weight capacity. Every pair of hooks comes with 3M official instructions, please refer to them for more information.

*Please note that by 3M official instructions, 3M Command Clear Hooks work on a variety of indoor surfaces. However, it may not work on wallpaper, rough surface, or surface with household cleaners. Please refer to 3M official website or instructions for more details.

*To hang the map, attach two hooks to two upper corners of the wall, and let your map drape loosely over. This way, you can put beautiful pins on the map easily. Besides, it looks good!

*Ropes at the four corners of the map are used for outdoor or other particular activities. It’s not necessary to tie up all four of them.

*If you’d like to have different types of hooks, you can purchase them at stores or online according to your needs.

Yes, it is washable. Both hand wash and machine wash work.

And, no, It won’t fade. We use the high-quality materials coming from Japan and Italy. The printing process is transferred by heat press machine which can guarantee the color last for many years.

*Tumble dry on low heat. Avoid high temperatures, bleach, etc.

The pins pierce the map and are fixed with backing clips. There’s no need for a cork board. It’s simple and easy! From the back of your map, you can see that the pins pierce the map but do not pierce the wall. Since the map hangs loosely over the wall, the pins can’t damage it.

*UMade is not liable for any misuse of our products such as scraping the map against the wall.

UMap is made of high-quality stretch fabric. The pins that come with it are designed and produced exclusively for the map. Under normal conditions, tiny pinholes might be present after piercing and removing the pins, but they won’t cause any damage to the map. Kindly note that we do not recommend you use other pins that are not produced by UMade.

*UMade is not liable for any misuse of our products such as piercing the map with push pins, brooches, or pins not produced by us.

Sure! Just like how you do for your shirts, you can iron map/tapestry from the back with low temperature to remove wrinkles or creases. Please avoid excessive heat or ironing it for too long. Normally it takes 2-5 minutes to get it done.

We usually start processing orders within 12 hours after the orders were placed. If you contact us within 12 hours, we will adjust it for you immediately. After 12 hours, if we already started the process, we won’t be able to change it. Please make sure to check your custom information one more time when you place the order.

If you choose to not customize the headline, please fill in “none” for your custom information. There will only be “WORLD MAP” as shown below:

If your product hasn’t been shipped, email us at hello@umadeshop.com to let us know your order number, email address, and how many pins you need (25 or 50 pins). We would place the order for you. This way, you don’t have to pay extra shipping fees!

If your product has been shipped, you could simply place another order for extra pins.

Each product is made individually with your custom information. Normally it takes 7-14 business days to get them beautifully made and shipped to you. We always do our best to get them ready as soon as possible.
About String Lights
It fits all USB sockets, power adapter, PC, power bank, etc. There’s no need to worry about sockets or different voltage in every country, just bring it anywhere you like!

These lights are very safe to use since they do not get hot over time! The heat it gives off is the same as human body temperature.

*Like any home appliances, your experience may differ slightly due to different environment or transformers. When in doubt, use caution.

You can use paper tape, clay, or hooks to fix them. Shining Stars String Lights can be easily bent and shaped any way you like!

Shining Stars String Lights come in 6.6ft(2M), 16.4ft(5M) and 32.8ft(10M). The longer the string lights, the more LED lights it has. You could choose the length according to your needs.

Like the pictures on product page, string lights shaped as “LOVE” and Christmas tree are 32.8ft(10M) long. Light strings in glass jars are 6.6ft(2M) and 16.4ft(5M) long.

CUSTOM & IMPORT DUTIES

UMade is not liable for any unforeseen changes such as strict customs and unexpected custom order inspections. We do not have any control over such circumstances which may, unfortunately, cause a delay in your order's delivery time. We will do our best to avoid any extra fees happen when the parcel arrives at the destination based on the local regulations. However, if any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination, these charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

 

 

If you want to change the shipping address/method for an order, please contact us to tell us your order number, email, new shipping address and method as soon as possible.

Before the package is shipped, we can change the address for you and let you know if the shipping fee is different. (If it's lower, we will refund the difference after deducted the handling fee. If it's higher, you will need to pay the extra shipping fee before we can ship it out.)

If the package is already on the way to you, we cannot change the address for you. If you still want to change the address, you’ll have to pay for the extra shipping fee. If your purchase qualifies for free shipping, we will take care of the first shipping fee, and the second shipping cost would be your responsibility.

You CANNOT contact the carrier and change the address by yourself without informing us, if you do when the package arrives at the destination, the extra fee would apply.

If you select Express (DHL) shipping method when you placed the order, you will receive the notification email/SMS from DHL when the package has arrived in your country/city. And you will have the options to choose the delivery date you want, change to self-pick-up from a DHL service point, or let your neighbor/concierge/guard to receive the package for you.

*If your package is delivered to the wrong address that you filled in, please refer to the above guidelines as well.

Returns & Exchanges
We normally start processing orders within 12 hours. If you would like to change your order, please email us at hello@umadeshop.com within 12 hours. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you would like to exchange the product, contact us at hello@umadeshop.com to request an exchange. Be sure to specify the reason and the item you wish to exchange.

Note that items must be returned in the original packaging as we sent them to you, with all accessories, invoice, giveaways, promotional items and instruction manuals included. After our team receives and inspects the item, we would send you a replacement. We are responsible for shipping fees to send you the replacement. However, return shipping reimbursement is not available unless products arrive damaged or defective.

Please note that custom or personalized orders can not be returned/exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.

7. Place names shown on the map are compiled from numerous sources and may be subject to change based on time, context, country, city, politics or translation. UMade has made every effort to ensure but does not guarantee the accuracy of the information contained on the map. This does not qualify as damaged or defective issue.

8. Restrictions may apply if customers required refunds or canceled on a majority of orders for personal reasons. UMade would evaluate the returns on a case-by-case basis.

9. All returns will be inspected by UMade upon arrival. We will not be able to refund if the return is not in line with our Return Policy. In this case, return shipping reimbursement is not available, and shipping fees to return the items are at the customer's own expense.

Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 7 days from receiving your order (according to the delivery date on the tracking record).

THE REGULAR RETURN PROCESS
